1. What the heck is a 'review session', anyway?
When a person you can relate to tells a funny joke or two, and teaches you everything you need to know for your exam. It usually takes about 3 hours, including a 10-15 minute break halfway. We know it's long... but hey, those exams make up most of your grade. Always included in the cost of the review is a review packet we have prepared for you, and some extra help right before the exam (in the form of a question and answer session).

2. Where are the review sessions held?
Currently, our review sessions are held in one of two places; first, many of our review sessions are held at our facility, which is located downtown on 485 E. Clayton Street (there is a link for directions at the bottom of the page); second, we hold all our large review sessions at the Classic Center (one block from our front door). The easiest way to make sure you go to the right place, at the right time, on the right day, is to check your class page at the top right of this page and look at the location column or get on our email list for updates about your class. If anything ever changes then we will notify you via email.

3. How personal is the help I am getting?
Unfortunately, there simply isn't enough time to do private tutoring with a few hundred people before a test. But, we ALWAYS make ourselves available for any questions you have. Whether it's during a review, before or after a review, or by email, one could argue that we are much more in touch than a private tutor. Why? Because this is our full-time job and we care about the quality of the service we are providing.

4. But I am a very good student and go to every class. Do I still need to go to a review?
First of all, every class? Every single one? You didn't miss one class when you were hung over or sick? Really? Don't lie to us... okay, that's what we thought.
Actually, a very high percentage of our students do make it to every single class. The better a student that you are, the more you realize that every last bit helps, and that there are people out there (us) that can make things a lot easier to learn. The quick pace of the reviews and comprehensive review packet mean that you spend less time studying than you would have on your own. And you are always going to have questions... which is what we are here for. Finally, we know the teachers and we know the tests better than anyone else. We know what you need to know and what you don't, so you don't waste time on things that aren't important.

5. Why are TutoringZone reviews so much better than any others at UGA?
Because there aren't any others, that's why!
Seriously though, we have great people who work very hard. They do reviews semester after semester and get better and better every time. It's the tutor's job to know absolutely everything about the class, the material, the teacher, and the tests. And since we're not directly affiliated with the university, we can actually try to have fun.

6. What is this guarantee all about?>
No legal BS here. TutoringZone has ALWAYS had the policy that if you aren't satisfied with the review, you get your money back. That's it. Of course, we cannot guarantee grades mostly because that lies on you (i.e. how much you study, how much time you put in, etc.). However, if you feel that there is EVER anything unsatisfactory about our services, please email us.

7. Why should I subscribe to the email list for my class? ;
So many people don't realize how important the email lists are until late in the semester. But you need to subscribe as soon as you consider going to a review. Why? Very important information, changes, and updates are sent out via email. If a location changes (which happens very infrequently) or we want you to have more examples right before the exam, we need a way of contacting you. Also, before the reviews, you will hear everything about parking and other important stuff. Finally, it gives us a better idea of how many people to expect, so we can make sure there are plenty of seats. WE NEVER SELL OR GIVE OUT EMAIL ADDRESSES. 8. Where can I get the GreenNotes at?
GreenNotes can be pruchased through facebook for just $10 (you cannot print these notes out). If you would like a hardcopy of the notes you can come by our TutoringZone location downtown and pick up a copy for just $15.
